By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. How Users Register and Log In

NoxMC does not provide direct account registration using a standalone username, email address, or password.

Instead, users register and log in using a Microsoft account. After registration, users may be able to connect Discord and/or Steam accounts as alternate login methods or linked accounts.

As a result, we may receive certain information from those third-party providers, subject to their permissions, technical integrations, and privacy practices.

3. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect the following categories of information:

3.1 Information Provided Through Authentication Providers

When you sign in using Microsoft or connect Discord and/or Steam, we may receive information such as:

  • your account identifier;
  • display name or username;
  • profile information made available by the provider;
  • email address, if supplied by the provider and made available to us; and
  • authentication-related data needed to link or maintain your account.

We only receive the information made available through the applicable provider and your chosen account permissions.

3.2 Transaction and Purchase Information

When you make a purchase, we may collect or receive records relating to the transaction, such as:

  • purchased rank or upgrade details;
  • transaction identifiers;
  • payment status;
  • merchant/provider used; and
  • anti-fraud, verification, or dispute-related information.

We do not necessarily store full payment card details ourselves. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, including PayPal, Stripe, and Crypto.com, which may collect and process payment information under their own privacy notices and terms.

3.3 Technical and Usage Information

We may automatically collect information relating to your use of the Services, including:

  • IP address;
  • device, browser, and operating environment information;
  • server activity and gameplay-related logs;
  • website access logs;
  • timestamps and session activity;
  • diagnostic, error, crash, and security logs; and
  • general analytics and performance information.

3.4 Community, Support, and Account Data

We may collect information you submit when you:

  • open support tickets;
  • communicate with us;
  • participate in our website community or forums;
  • connect third-party accounts; or
  • interact with our Discord or website features.

This may include messages, attachments, moderation records, account notes, and other information relevant to support, abuse prevention, or community management.

4. How We Use Information

We may use personal information for the following purposes:

  • to create, authenticate, and manage user accounts;
  • to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services;
  • to provide purchased ranks, upgrades, and related benefits;
  • to process and record transactions;
  • to detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, disputes, chargebacks, and unauthorized activity;
  • to enforce our Terms of Service and community rules;
  • to provide customer support and respond to tickets;
  • to monitor gameplay, platform integrity, and service health;
  • to communicate with users about service-related matters; and
  • to comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights.

5. Payment Disputes and Fraud Prevention

If a payment dispute, chargeback, reversal, or related fraud concern arises, we may use relevant account, transaction, authentication, access, and platform information to investigate the matter, document the event, enforce our Terms, and protect the Services.

Under our service policies, disputed purchases may be suspended and access to the user’s account and related platforms may be revoked.

Users are encouraged to open a support ticket before initiating a payment dispute:

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website and community platform may use cookies, local storage, session technologies, and similar tools to:

  • keep users signed in;
  • remember preferences;
  • support security and fraud prevention;
  • maintain website functionality; and
  • understand performance and usage.

You may be able to control certain cookie settings through your browser, but disabling cookies may affect functionality.

7. Community Platform and Infrastructure Providers

NoxMC uses third-party services and providers to operate the Services, including:

  • Invision Community as our CMS/community platform;
  • Wholesale Internet, Inc. as an infrastructure provider; and
  • DigitalOcean as an infrastructure provider.

These providers may process, host, transmit, store, or otherwise handle data on our behalf as part of delivering the Services.

8. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • with service providers, vendors, hosting providers, infrastructure providers, and platform tools that help us operate the Services;
  • with payment processors and anti-fraud partners in connection with transactions and disputes;
  • with authentication and linked account providers where needed for account functionality;
  • with legal, regulatory, law enforcement, or government authorities when required by law or when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or the integrity of the Services;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, or other business transaction; or
  • with your consent or at your direction.

We do not sell your personal information for cash. However, some jurisdictions define "sale" or "sharing" broadly, and your rights may vary depending on where you live.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

  • maintain accounts and service functionality;
  • provide support;
  • complete transactions;
  • document disputes and enforce policies;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • resolve conflicts; and
  • protect the Services and our users.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, operational needs, and legal requirements.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in the United States and in other jurisdictions where our providers or service partners operate. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your own.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed specifically to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information unlawfully, please contact us so we can review the matter.

If additional age-related requirements apply in your jurisdiction, use of the Services must also comply with those requirements.

13. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain data, or to object to or limit certain processing.

Because our Services depend on third-party authentication providers and operational systems, some requests may be limited by technical constraints, legal obligations, fraud-prevention needs, security concerns, or the need to maintain the integrity of the Services.

To submit a privacy-related request, contact us through our support channel or by mail using the contact details below.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party sites, services, logins, payment providers, and community platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of third parties. You should review their policies before using those services.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version and revise the effective date or last updated date. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised policy.
